Building with the Nudura ICF System

Nudura is one of the world’s leading ICF systems, and Tenax Construction has built 20+ custom homes using this innovative technology.

What Is the Nudura System?

Nudura Insulated Concrete Forms are interlocking expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam panels connected by molded plastic web bridges. When stacked and filled with reinforced concrete, they create a solid wall system with continuous insulation on both sides. The result is a structure that is stronger, more energy-efficient, and more durable than any traditional building method.

Why We Choose Nudura

After evaluating multiple ICF systems, Tenax Construction chose Nudura for its superior engineering, ease of installation, and consistent quality. The Nudura system features patented fold-flat technology for efficient shipping, integrated fastening strips for easy finishing, and precision-engineered forms that ensure straight, consistent walls.

Our Nudura Construction Process

The process begins with foundation preparation, followed by stacking Nudura forms according to architectural plans. Rebar is placed within the forms for reinforcement, then concrete is poured and vibrated to eliminate air pockets. Once cured, the walls are ready for exterior and interior finishing. The entire wall system—structure, insulation, and vapor barrier—is completed in one step.

Design Flexibility

Contrary to common misconception, ICF homes are not limited in design. Nudura forms can accommodate virtually any architectural style, from contemporary modern to traditional Mediterranean. Curved walls, large openings, and multi-story designs are all achievable with proper engineering. We offer full design and architectural services, or we can work with your existing plans.
