DUTIES: Coordinate and oversee design phases of pre-construction, from initial concept through final approvals. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, estimators, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Manage the design review process to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and client specifications. Evaluate construction drawings and documents for completeness, accuracy, and constructability. Identify and resolve potential design conflicts and challenges prior to construction. Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and external consultants to streamline project timelines. Assist in developing project budgets and schedules. Provide design input and technical guidance during bid preparation and client presentations. Conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders on design progress, risks, and opportunities. Provide technical leadership to Sales and Estimator departments.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:
